Human Resource Director, Clinic President and Official Biscuit Maker
Clifford the Big Red Cat, but most know me as Cliffy
Director of Human Resources, Clinic President, Professional biscuit maker and the Best Cuddle buddy 😊
On a very cold February morning in 2021 I found myself starving and looking for food and a place to stay warm. Unbeknownst to me it was a trap! I mean a literal live cat trap; they are used for feral cats. I thought, “am I feral?”
Well, it turns out that I was, I was so scared and not feeling very well. I ended up attacking the nice lady who found me. I didn’t mean to be so mean, but I was scared and did not know she was trying to help me. All I knew was that I did not like humans (at the time) and would do anything I could do to get away from them.
She was really worried about me, since I had seemed to be very sick. I was not sure how I felt about being inside with strangers. She took me to see Dr. Parnell so she could help me feel better. (looking back, I am so glad she did 😊)
I was given a room upstairs with a window, heater, food, and water. They named me Clifford. I never had a name before, let alone a whole room to myself. I was still scared of anyone that would come in. I did, however, start feeling a lot better.
I did start becoming less and less scared. I realized this “indoor cat” thing might be a good life for me. I mean who wouldn’t want to be waited on every day! 😊 Dr. Parnell and her amazing staff would bring me delicious food all the time. I would also get treats!! I loved treats, especially Churu. You know come to think of it, I have not had a Churu in a while. I think I heard something about being put on a diet. Can anyone explain that to me? Sorry, when I hear the word food, I get very distracted.
Anyway, back to my story, I decided that being an indoor/office cat would be the best place for me. I soon found out that being an indoor cat is the BEST! I slowly warmed up to Dr. Parnell and her staff. I am now a proud employee of Idaho Falls Veterinary Hospital.
I have been Employee of the Month every month! I am always on time, never called out sick. I love helping with the foster kittens. You can usually find me sunbathing in a cat tree or passed out in my bed. (Trust me they have photos)

Becca
Office Manager/Vet Assistant/Receptionist
She has been in Vet Med since 2002, (off and on) starting out at a small and large animal vet practice as well as the emergency hospital when it first opened.
She grew up just outside of Idaho Falls and has always had a passion for animals. Becca took some time away from vet med and worked at various other jobs in Idaho Falls. But her heart has and always will be in Vet Med.
Becca has been married for 7 years and has 2 stepchildren that are off on their own in the world and doing amazing things!
Along with loving animals, Becca and her husband love to travel. Their two favorite places are Lake Powell and Hawaii. If have never been, you really should go!!!
She and her husband have a very spoiled cat named Sadee.
Honorable mention: Sis was signed over to a previous clinic Becca worked at in 2017. It was a match made in heaven. They were inseparable, she would come to work with Becca every day. Every person Sis would meet would instantly fall in love with her. She loved car rides and exploring new places. Not only was she the best dog! Sis was a hero! She would donate her blood to dogs in need across the US. She saved over 100 dogs’ lives! She lived out the rest of her years, enjoying car rides, runs in the park and soaking up the sunshine. She passed away on September 19th, 2019. She is missed every single day.

Tosha joined our team in December 2022. She is originally from a small town in Vermont. She has 11 years of experience in the Veterinary field and has worked in multiple clinics in several different states. Some of her favorite things about working in the Veterinary field are client education, learning new things every day, helping to ensure each patient feels comfortable and safe while in our care, and surgery. Tosha shares her home with her husband and their dogs Remi, Benny, Luna, Mac, and Bodhi. When she is not here at the clinic taking care of patients, you will find her out enjoying the beautiful views the West has to offer, or camping and hiking with her dogs and husband.
